New York Knicks' guard Courtney Lee (ankle) is unlikely to play against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday.
Lee suffered the injury in the first half of the Knicks' win over the Wolves on Wednesday night. While there appears to be no significant damage to his ankle, Lee will likely sit out on Friday night and will be questionable for Sunday versus the Sacramento Kings. Brandon Jennings and Justin Holiday will see extra minutes in Lee's absence.
Lee is averaging 9.5 points and 1.3 three-pointers per game while shooting 44.4 percent from three this season.
