Wizards lose despite Bradley Beal's 31 points
Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal scored 31 points against the Oklahoma City Thunder during a 126-115 overtime loss on Wednesday, adding five rebounds, one assist, two steals and four 3-pointers in 42 minutes.
Beal and the Wizards looked like they had this one in the bag, but the Thunder forced overtime and Russell Westbrook took control of the overtime period. However, Beal has now scored 31 points in back to back games and he is averaging 29.5 points per game in his last six contests.
Beal is coming on over the last few weeks and he is averaging 21.6 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists over 34.8 minutes per game this season. His .519 effective field goal percentage is currently a career-high, while his nERD of 0.7 ranks 67th among all players.
