Kristaps Porzingis scores 29 points, Knicks knock off Wolves
New York Knicks forward/center Kristaps Porzingis scored 29 points during a 106-104 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday, adding eight rebounds, four assists, two blocks and three 3-pointers in 39 minutes.
Hello, All Star Game. Porzingis is playing like the man in New York and last night with Carmelo Anthony struggling, Porzingis stepped up in a big way. Anthony may have gotten the glory with the game-winning shot, but it was Porzingis doing the heavy lifting on Wednesday and he deserves as much credit for the win.
Porzingis is having a stellar season, averaging 21.4 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.5 blocks over 33.9 minutes per game. He has a .564 effective field goal percentage and his nERD of 2.3 ties him for 23rd among all players right now.
