X-rays come back clean for Orlando's Elfrid Payton
X-rays taken on Orlando Magic guard Elfrid Payton's right ankle after Tuesday's game against the San Antonio Spurs came back negative.
Payton sprained his ankle in the fourth quarter and while he returned to the bench after going to the locker room, he did not return to the game. He was limping after the game so right now it looks like he is questionable for Thursday. He has come off the bench and played pretty well over the last two games, but if he is out Thursday, D.J. Augustin will be a popular DFS option.
In his third NBA season, Payton is averaging 10.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and 5.3 assists over 29.4 minutes per game. He owns a .457 effective field goal percentage and his nERD of -0.6 currently ranks 322nd.
