Jeremy Lamb stays hot as Hornets down Grizzlies

Charlotte Hornets guard Jeremy Lamb built nicely off his 18-point effort from Saturday, scoring 21 points with nine rebounds, one steal, one block and two triples in just 23 minutes.

What It Means:

Despite Nicolas Batum and Marco Belinelli being back, Lamb still got some nice run off the bench in route to his season high 23 points on Monday. The three guards all played minutes in the low 20s, but going forward if Lamb keeps this up, he might force Belinelli down in the rotation.

Lamb's two big games have moved his averages to 10.3 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.3 triples in 17.7 minutes per game this season. He owns a career-best .520 effective field goal percentage and his nERD of 0.3 ranks him 102nd.
