Kings lose despite DeMarcus Cousins' 36 points and 20 rebounds

Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins went for 36 points, a season-high 20 rebounds, four assists, two steals, a block and five turnovers in 40 minutes of an overtime loss to the Washington Wizards on Monday.

What It Means:

Cousins now has 30-plus points in four straight games and he has double-doubles in six of his last seven contests. The Kings are only 2-7 though when Boogie scores 30 this season, so while his lines are impressive, the Kings need to find some more balance on offense.

Cousins is averaging 28.7 points, 10.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists this season. He owns a career-best .512 effective field goal percentage and 2.7 nERD ranks him 16th among all players.
