Jonas Valanciunas double-doubles, makes early exit for Toronto with ankle injury
Toronto Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas posted 12 points and 11 rebounds against the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday before an ankle injury forced him to the sidelines for the remainder of the game.
He was reportedly available to return to the game, but the Raptors won in dominant fashion, and there was no need to risk him returning to the game. His status is still up in the air for Wednesday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Valanciunas' 8.04 nERD was the sixth-highest mark among Raptors players in the win, per numberFire Live. His 1.6 nERD on the season is good for 31st in the league.
