Dallas Mavericks guard/forward Wesley Matthews netted 6-for-8 three-pointers to finish Sunday's win with 21 points, three rebounds, three assists and one turnover in 39 minutes of action.
Matthews has been forced to step up on offense with the bevy of injuries for Dallas and he has started to show some spark. He now has at least 20 points in three of his last seven games.
Matthews is averaging 13.7 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 36.1 minutes per game this season. He owns a .463 effective field goal percentage though, which is easily the lowest of his career.
