Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard scored 27 points with 11 assists, four rebounds, one block and three triples in a 119-104 win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday.
Portland was in a deep slide down the Western Conference standings before Friday night, so it was good for them to get a win and stop the bleeding. It was also nice to see Lillard get another double-double after his 40-point performance against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Lillard is having an MVP-level season so far, averaging 28.3 points, 5.3 assists and 4.9 rebounds, with a career-high .537 effective field goal percentage. He owns a 2.7 nERD, which ranks him 15th in the league.
