Dante Cunningham (knee) to miss 4-6 weeks for Pelicans
New Orleans Pelicans forward Dante Cunningham (knee) is expected to miss 4-6 weeks of action due to a fracture suffered in Wednesday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Cunningham had averaged over 30 minutes per gem in the four games leading up to his injury, and his being sidelined will likely mean an uptick in minutes for Solomon Hill and Langston Galloway.
Cunningham wasn't having much of an impact on the offensive end this season, attempting only 5.6 field goals per game with a 12.1 percent usage rate, so while there will be increased minutes to go around in his absence, those minutes won't be accompanied by much of a boost in offensive volume.
