Jae Crowder (ankle) won't play for Celtics wednesday versus Dallas
Boston Celtics forward Jae Crowder (left ankle) did not practice on Tuesday and will not play Wednesday against the Dallas Mavericks.
Wednesday's matchup with his former team will be the seventh straight game Crowder has missed. Marcus Smart will continue to see big minutes while Jaylen Brown logs around 15 off the bench. Consider Crowder questionable for Friday's contest against the Golden State Warriors.
Through four games this season, Crowder is averaging 13.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.3 steals, 1.0 blocks and 2.3 3-pointers on a career-high .707 true shooting percentage.
