Mavericks without Dirk Nowitzki (Achilles) versus Knicks
Dallas Mavericks forward/center Dirk Nowtizki (sore Achilles) has been ruled out against the New York Knicks on Monday night.
Nowitzki is expected to return Wednesday against the Boston Celtics after making it through pregame warmups without any issues. J.J. Barea, Wesley Matthews and Harrison Barnes will benefit the most, while Dwight Powell should see more minutes for Dallas. Dorian Finney-Smith is replacing Dirk in the starting lineup.
numberFire's models say Barea will score the most points on FanDuel Monday night, as we project him to score 15.4 points, dish out 6.7 assists, pull in 3.6 rebounds and sink 2.4 shots from downtown. He's tied for fourth on the Mavericks with a 0.2 nERD.
