Andre Drummond (ankle) out, Aron Baynes starting for Pistons
Detroit Pistons forward/center Andre Drummond (right ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Drummond sprained his ankle at the end of Saturday's victory over the Denver Nuggets. He's day-to-day after X-rays and an MRI revealed nothing more than a sprain. Aron Baynes is starting and makes for an intriguing FanDuel play. He finished with 14 points, five rebounds and one assist in 28 minutes during his only start last season. Boban Marjanovic should see more minutes as Detroit's primary backup at center.
Baynes is the best value play of the night at his $3,500 price tag, according to numberFire's metrics. We project him to score 11.8 points with 7.8 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 25.6 minutes. Baynes' 0.2 nERD is currently fifth on the Pistons.
