Isaiah Whitehead

Isaiah Whitehead (concussion) available for Brooklyn

Brooklyn Nets shooting guard Isaiah Whitehead (concussion) has been cleared to play Monday versus the Los Angeles Clippers.

What It Means:

Sean Kilpatrick is expected to start, but Whitehead's availability may sway head coach Kenny Atkinson to adjust his lineup. Whitehead is averaging just over 24 minutes in two starts this season, so it wouldn't hurt Kilpatrick's fantasy value either way. Yogi Ferrell, however, may wind up at the end of the bench as a result. Brook Lopez (rest) is sitting Monday, meaning there will be plenty of offensive work up for grabs.

numberFire's metrics expect Kilpatrick (-0.2 nERD) to put up 14.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.6 3-pointers against the Clippers on Monday. Whitehead (-0.8 nERD) is projected to score 10.0 points with 3.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists.
