Celtics will have Isaiah Thomas (finger) against Pelicans
Boston Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas (sprained left middle finger) said he will play on Monday versus the New Orleans Pelicans.
What It Means:
The problematic finger happens to be on Thomas' shooting hand and is heavily wrapped as of now, so he makes for a risky fantasy investment on Monday night. Al Horford (concussion, questionable) would also steal some touches if he's able to return for tonight's matchup.
numberFire's models project Thomas to turn in 22.3 points, 6.5 assists, 3.2 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 2.0 3-pointers against New Orleans, but that's based on the assumption Horford doesn't play.
