J.R. Smith out on Sunday for Cleveland

Cleveland Cavaliers guard J.R. Smith (ankle) will not play versus the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday.

What It Means:

Smith tweaked his ankle against the Wizards and even though he is out on Sunday, it doesn't look like the injury is too serious. Mike Dunleavy is starting in his place against the Hornets and Iman Shumpert should see a boost on Sunday as well.

Smith is averaging 10.5 points to go along with 2.5 rebounds and 1.8 steals in 31.9 minutes per game. His shot inside of the arc has been really poor at only 21.4%, but he has a .488 effective field goal percentage and is shooting 36.4% from three-point land in eight games.
