Washington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal (right hamstring) will not play against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday and Marcus Thornton will start.
Beal has been battling a right leg issue and the Wizards are on the front end of a back-to-back, so it makes sense for him to take the night off. Expect him back in the lineup on Saturday. Tomas Satoransky should see a minutes boost.
Thornton is projected to score 15.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.5 3-pointers versus Cleveland on Friday, according to numberFire's models. We expect Satoransky to score 10.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.1 steals.
