Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Ricky Rubio (elbow) is listed as questionable to play against the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday.
What It Means:
Rubio is now suddenly day-to-day after getting in a practice on Friday. His return will mean less minutes for Kris Dunn and Tyus Jones. One may wind up getting bumped from the rotation entirely because head coach Tom Thibodeau likely won't want to juggle three point guards. Rubio should be scooped if he hit any waivers.
Rubio got off to a slow start this season, averaging 4.5 points and 6.5 assists on just a .333 effective field goal percentage in two games. He currently owns a -0.1 nERD.
