Pelicans rule out Lance Stephenson indefinitely
New Orleans Pelicans guard/forward Lance Stephenson has a groin injury that will require surgery and sideline him indefinitely.
Talk about horrible timing. Stephenson was just starting to roll before this injury and without him the Pelicans' options on offense get even more limited. Buddy Hield, Solomon Hill and E'Twaun Moore should all see a minutes bump until the return of Tyreke Evans.
Stephenson had a -0.5 nERD on the year and was averaging 9.7 points, 4.8 assists and 3.3 rebounds on a .482 effective field goal percentage.
