Hawks' Kent Bazemore breaks out of slump, drops 20 points on Houston

Atlanta Hawks guard/forward Kent Bazemore finally broke out of his slump on Saturday, hitting 7-of-12 shots and three 3-pointers for a season-high 20 points.

What It Means:

Bazemore added four rebounds, four assists and three steals in 32 minutes for easily his best game of the season. Before Saturday, Bazemore was 3-for-20 from beyond the arc and he was losing minutes to Thabo Sefolosha. He will need to put up more efforts like Saturday to keep his minutes up above 30 per game.

Bazemore is averaging 9.5 points, 3.2 assists and 2.7 rebounds in 27.8 minutes per game to start the season. He has a .390 effective field goal percentage and a .446 true shooting percentage.
