Celtics' Kelly Olynyk still two weeks away
Boston Celtics head coach Coach Brad Stevens said center Kelly Olynyk (shoulder) is still a couple weeks away from game action.
Olynyk was cleared for contact over the weekend but it looks like he is going to need some time to get back into game shape. He has yet to participate in 5-on-5 scrimmages yet, so the team plans to bring their young center along slowly.
In 69 games last season, Olynyk ranked 72nd with a 2.7 nERD. He posted averages of 10.0 points and 4.1 rebounds in 20.2 minutes per game, with a .531 effective field goal percentage.
