Dario Saric expected to start for Sixers on Wednesday
Philadelphia 76ers forward Dario Saric (face) is expected to start in Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Saric got elbowed in the face by Joel Embiid in Monday's practice, but he was rested up on Tuesday and participated in the Sixers' practice that afternoon. With Embiid expected to only play 20 minutes and Jahlil Okafor expected to play even less than that, Saric could be busy tonight against the Thunder.
Saric played pretty well in the preseason, averaging 10.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 21.1 minutes per game.
