Jared Sullinger

Jared Sullinger facing about 2-3 months on Raptors' shelf

Toronto Raptors forward/center Jared Sullinger is expected to miss roughly the next two-to-three months of action as he recovers from foot surgery, according to Raptors' general manager Masai Ujiri.

What It Means:

Ujiri noted the possibility of Sullinger beating the timetable, but that's highly improbable for a big man recovering from foot surgery. Best-case scenario puts Sullinger back in action by December, but expect him to be on heavily restricted minutes upon returning. He's only an option in really deep leagues at this point. Patrick Patterson and DeMarre Carroll should benefit the most in his absence.

Our models project Carroll to average 10.7 points, 1.3 3-pointers (34.1 percent), 4.6 rebounds and 1.3 steals on 45.6 percent shooting from the field in 29.2 minutes per game. Patterson is pegged for 7.5 points and 4.3 rebounds with a 43.8 field goal percentage in 25.3 minutes a night.
