Charlotte Hornets forward Marvin Williams (left finger) will play in the regular-season opener against the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday, according to Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer.
The injury to his finger was minor and he'll be ready to roll. Williams provides a great deal of upside at his late-round cost.
Our models project Williams for 12.9 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game this season. We expect him to play 30 minutes a night while averaging 44.9 percent from the field.
