Sixers' Nerlens Noel will miss 3-5 weeks
Philadelphia 76ers forward Nerlens Noel (left knee surgery) is expected to be out for the next three-to-five weeks, sources told Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Noel is scheduled to have surgery on his knee Monday, so expect him to be out through most of November. The Sixers have one of the more obvious logjams in their front court and Noel's name has been shopped around lately. However, his value is temporarily diminished because of his injury.
Noel averaged 11.1 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.5 blocks per game last season, contributing to a measly -2.0 nERD.
