Derrick Favors still not practicing with Jazz

Utah Jazz forward Derrick Favors (left knee, IT band syndrome) is still not practicing on Saturday.

What It Means:

Favors has been sidelined two weeks and it looks like he is still without a timetable to return to the court. The team does not believe the injury is a long term concern, but it is getting to the point where the big man may be in danger of missing Utah's season opener if it lingers another week.

In 62 games last season, Favors posted a .515 effective field goal percentage and a 55.1 true shooting percentage, both of which were three-year lows. However, he averaged career highs with 16.4 points on a 23.9 usage rate.
