76ers plan to play Joel Embiid 20-24 minutes on opening night
Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid could be ready for 20-24 minutes on opening night, head coach Brett Brown said.
The arrow keeps rocketing on Embiid's fantasy value for his debut NBA season, as this statement comes after Brown already said he wants to make the big man the focal point on both offense and defense. Embiid is currently logging 12 minutes a night through three preseason contests, but expect to see that tick upward as the regular season approaches.
Embiid is currently averaging 7.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.3 blocks a night in exhibition play.
