John Wall will make Wizards preseason debut Monday
Washington Wizards point guard John Wall (knees) will make his preseason debut on Monday against the New York Knicks.
Wall has been practicing in full lately and has been doing some scrimmaging as well, so team doctors are apparently comfortable with him seeing a little game action. Wall has been limited to start training camp, but this is a nice sign that the team is ready to give him some preseason minutes. He will likely only see a few minutes of court time on Monday as the team will play it safe with their star coming off two knee surgeries in the offseason.
Despite playing through that knee pain late in the season, Wall still managed to post a career-high 19.9 points and 10.2 assists per game last season. He only had a .467 effective field goal percentage, but he also matched a career-high in three point percentage at 35.1 percent.
