Nuggets' Gary Harris (groin) out 4-6 weeks
Denver Nuggets shooting guard Gary Harris (right groin) is expected to miss the next 4-6 weeks due to a partially torn muscle.
Rookie Jamal Murray and Will Barton will both be in line for larger opportunities to start the season as Harris likely won't be available. He averaged 14.3 points per game coming out of the All-Star break last season and has proven to be one of the premier perimeter defenders in the league.
Harris averaged 12.3 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.4 3-pointers per game last season. He posted a .566 true shooting percentage, a significant improvement from the .395 percent mark during his rookie year.
