Zach Randolph to come off the Grizzlies' bench this year
Memphis Grizzlies forward/center Zach Randolph will be coming off the bench this season.
New head coach David Fizdale wants to increase the tempo this season, which doesn't exactly play to Randolph's strengths. He'll help lead the second unit from the five and should still see plenty of time on the court, but is a late-round option at best in standard leagues.
Randolph came off the bench in 15 contests last season, averaging 14.1 points and 7.7 rebounds in 26.7 minutes of work. His 15.0 total rebounding percentage last season was his lowest clip since the 2005-2006 season.
