New York Knicks point guard Derrick Rose finished his preseason debut with 16 points on 7-of-14 shooting, five assists, two rebounds and one block in 25 minutes.
A pretty disturbing civil lawsuit that could force Rose to miss some early regular season action currently looms, but he was active on Tuesday night anyway. The 28-year-old point guard has played a total of 166 games over the past five seasons.
Rose posted a -8.4 nERD last season, which was the fourth-worst mark in the NBA. He averaged 16.4 points, 4.7 assists and 3.4 rebounds per game, while posting career-worsts in true shooting percentage (.479) and player efficiency rating (13.5) for any season in which he played more than 10 games.
