Denver Nuggets center Jusuf Nurkic looked spectacular during his 24 minutes as the starting center against the Toronto Raptors on Monday, finishing with 15 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, two steals, two blocks and three turnovers.
The 22-year-old Bosnian big man continues to excite the fantasy community, going 4-of-9 from the field and making all seven of his attempts from the charity stripe. Nurkic flashed some quickness on the low block and has slimmed down a ton since last season. He's poised for a breakout season, even if his minutes are kept in the low 20s.
On a per-36-minute basis last season, Nurkic averaged 17.9 points, 11.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 2.9 blocks and 1.3 steals for the Nuggets.
