John Wall feeling 'great' after first Wizards' practice

Washington Wizards point guard John Wall (knees) said he felt "great" following his first day of practice at training camp.

What It Means:

"I feel great," Wall said. "I’m a little fatigued but other than that I feel really good." The point guard didn't participate in the live portions of Tuesday's practice, but head coach Scott Brooks estimated that Wall got through roughly 70 percent of the work. Kelly Oubre added that he was dunking during some drills. Wall appears to be progressing nicely in his recovery from two knee surgeries this summer, but he remains a relatively risky first-round fantasy selection.

Despite playing through knee pain late in the year, Wall still managed to post a career-high 19.9 points and 10.2 assists per game last season. He only had a .467 effective field goal percentage, but he also matched a career-high with a 35.1 percent clip on shots from downtown.
