Chris Bosh's career with Heat over
Miami Heat forward/center Chris Bosh's career with the team won't continue, said team president Pat Riley.
"I think Chris is still open-minded. But we are not working toward his return," Riley said. "We feel that, based on the last exam, that his Heat career is probably over." Riley replied it's "up to him" when asked if Bosh's NBA career was over. The Big Three era is officially in the rearview mirror for a Miami team that sounds prepared to rebuild around Hassan Whiteside, Justise Winslow, Goran Dragic and Josh Richardson. Bosh will hopefully play in the NBA again, but he should be scratched off draft boards until there's some positive news.
Bosh was limited to only 53 games last season before his second episode of blood clots ended his season. He was having a great season, averaging 19.1 points, 7.4 rebounds and posting a .520 effective field goal percentage.
