Hawks' Paul Millsap (knee procedure) out three weeks

Atlanta Hawks forward/center Paul Millsap recently underwent a "preventive knee procedure" and is expected to miss three weeks.

What It Means:

Millsap didn't require surgery, but a procedure was performed to remove "mild swelling" that flared up in his right knee while scrimmaging at voluntary workouts. He's expected to miss the first two games of the preseason, but should be ready to roll for the start of the regular season. This shouldn't impact Millsap's fantasy stock too much.

Millsap's .505 effective field goal percentage this season was slightly below his career average. An all-around monster, he put up 17.1 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.7 blocks per night this year.
