Nets head coach Lionel Hollins said Jarrett Jack can handle the starting point guard role for the Nets.
Jack has now shifted into the top spot on the Nets point guard depth chart after the departure of Deron Williams this offseason. Jack averaged an impressive 15.9 points, 6.6 assists, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.2 steals in 27 starts last season.
Jack posted a subpar -4.5 nERD last season in a backup point guard role to rank 14th on the Nets roster. However, he ranked fourth on the team with 1.4 Defensive Win Shares and seventh with a 14.6 Player Efficiency Rating.
