Suns' Eric Bledsoe cleared to scrimmage
Phoenix Suns guard Eric Bledsoe (knee surgery) has been cleared for 5-on-5 scrimmaging.
What It Means:
Bledsoe was limited to only 31 games last season after season-ending knee surgery, but he participated in his first 5-on-5 scrimmage Thursday. He will be a high risk and high reward player in fantasy drafts this season.
Before going down, Bledsoe was averaging 20.4 points, 6.1 assists and 4.0 rebounds in 34.2 minutes per game last season. He was posting an Effective Field Goal Percentage of 50.2, but had a nERD of just 0.7 in 2015-'16. He also posted a career-high in usage rate at 27.2 in his 31 games.
