Chris Bosh growing frustrated with Heat, wants to play

Miami Heat forward/center Chris Bosh (blood clots) wants to play this upcoming season, and he has grown frustrated with the way that the Heat organization has handled his situation.

What It Means:

If a doctor "that is jointly selected by the league and players association" determines that Bosh's condition "is career-ending, or severe enough to put him at risk if he continues playing," then that prognosis would allow the Heat to clear his salary from their books. However, Bosh would likely object to that determination and is reportedly on the lookout for a doctor that will give him the green light to play. There is no consensus amongst the medical community in regards to whether or not it is safe to play on blood thinners, and the Heat haven't revealed any details related to his status. Bosh posted on social media recently, stating that he's currently "hooping" while sharing video of him and Dwyane Wade working out together.

Bosh was solid when on the court last season, averaging 19.1 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 53 games. He had a 6.1 nERD that ranked 26th in the league.
