Free agent point guard Mario Chalmers (Achilles) has been cleared to return to the court.
Chalmers ruptured his Achilles just five months ago and the Grizzlies released him back in March. Being cleared for court-work is a big step in his recovery, so as long as he doesn't have any setbacks, he could sign with a team within the next month before training camp starts.
Chalmers ended his 2015-'16 campaign averaging 10.3 points, 3.8 assists and 2.6 rebounds in 22.5 minutes per game. He was having a great month of March before going down and he finished the season with a nERD of 2.7.
