Yi Jianlian, Lakers in contract negotiations
The Los Angeles Lakers are deep into contract talks to bring Chinese big man Yi Jianlian back to the NBA, according to Marc Stein of ESPN.
Jianlian has been out of the NBA and dominating in China since the 2011-2012 season, but this is the second off-season in a row that he has been rumored to be in talks with the Lakers.
Jianlian averaged 7.9 points and 4.9 rebounds in 22.2 minutes per game over his five seasons in the NBA, posting a .474 true shooting percentage and 12.9 percent total rebound rate.
