Ben McLemore and Kings unlikely to agree to extension

The Sacramento Kings and shooting guard Ben McLemore are unlikely to agree to a contract extension, per Bobby Marks of The Vertical.

What It Means:

They have until October 31 to reach a deal, but with the Kings drafting Malachi Richardson and signing Arron Afflalo, it doesn't look like there's much room for McLemore in Sacramento.

McLemore averaged career-lows in points (7.8), rebounds (2.2) and minutes (21.2) per game last season, with a .531 true shooting percentage and 8.6 player efficiency rating.
