Warriors' Kevin Durant scores 25 points to lead Team USA over China
Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant dominated during a 119-62 win over China on Saturday, making 10-of-14 from the field for 25 points with four rebounds, six assists, two steals, one turnover and five 3-pointers.
Durant is Team USA's number one scoring option in the 2016 tournament and he was cooking from the start of the game. He hit all four of his 1st quarter shots and he was 7-for-9 in the first half with three 3-pointers.
Durant is coming off of a phenomenal season in which he posted a career-high 12.4 percent total rebound rate, the second highest assist rate of his career at 24.2 percent, and still finished third in the league with 28.2 points per game. His 19.7 nERD was second only to new teammate Stephen Curry.
