Hornets' Kemba Walker is fully recovered from knee surgery

Charlotte Hornets point guard Kemba Walker stated during a recent interview that he is now fully recovered from the left knee surgery he underwent back in May.

What It Means:

Walker had surgery to repair a torn meniscus back in May, so he will easily be ready for training camp at the end of September. The Hornets' star guard had a breakout season in 2015-'16 season and the retention of Nicolas Batum should only help Walker. Walker's true shooting percentage rose almost four points to .542 with Batum on the court.

Walker averaged career highs with 20.9 points and 4.4 rebounds while adding 5.2 assists and 1.6 steals per game. He posted a career-high .495 effective field goal percentage, and Walker's 8.1 nERD ranked 18th in the league.
