Dallas Mavericks point guard Deron Williams (sports hernia) has said that he will be ready to go in time for training camp in an interview with NBCDFW.com.
Williams underwent surgery on June 9, and while he was always expected to be ready for the start of the season, it's a good sign that he will be ready to go for training camp as well.
Williams averaged 14.1 points and 5.8 assists in 32.4 minutes per game last season, while he posted a .530 true shooting percentage, a 29.3 percent assist rate and a -1.9 nERD that ranked 99th in the NBA.
