Lamar Patterson

Lamar Patterson waived by Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks have waived shooting guard Lamar Patterson.

What It Means:

Patterson played in just 35 games (zero starts) last season for Atlanta as a rookie out of the University of Pittsburgh, spending most of the season in the D-League. The former 48th overall pick of the 2014 draft will likely earn an invite to camp, but won't have any fantasy relevance regardless of where he ends up.

Patterson posted a -1.2 nERD, which ranked 92nd, last season. He averaged 2.4 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 11.3 minutes per game, while recording a .468 true shooting percentage.
