Pelicans will re-sign Tim Frazier
The New Orleans Pelicans are finalizing a deal to re-sign guard Tim Frazier according to ESPN's Marc Stein.
Frazier went from Portland to New Orleans last season, and once all the Pelicans' injuries started to hit, Frazier started seeing big minutes and production towards the end of the year. Stein notes the deal is for two-years and $4.1 million, and he also says that Norris Cole will likely move on now. Frazier will back up Jrue Holiday.
In 16 games with the Pelicans Frazier averaged 13.1 points, 7.5 assists, 4.4 boards and 1.4 steals across 29.3 minutes per game. He had a .457 effective field goal percentage in New Orleans, but also he shot 41.9 percent from the three-point line.
