Clippers' Paul Pierce intends to play next season
Los Angeles Clippers forward Paul Pierce intends to play next season according to Ben Bolch of the Los Angeles Times.
Pierce is 38 years-old, and was reportedly seriously considering retirement this summer. He has two years left on his deal with the Clippers, and he will continue to see limited minutes as the backup small forward in LA.
Pierce has a nERD of -3.6 last season. He averaged 6.1 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.1 triples per game last season. The veteran had an effective field goal percentage of .457, which was his lowest mark since 2003-'04.
