Free agent center Marreese Speights has signed with the Los Angeles Clippers.
Speights was a casualty of the Kevin Durant signing in Golden State, and his signing with the Clippers will help fill the void left by Cole Aldrich's departure.
Speights' 0.0 nERD ranked 80th in the NBA last season, and he shot a career-high 38.7 percent from 3-point range, while also managing a 15.5 percent total rebound rate and 3.0 percent block rate, making him a valuable role player off the bench.
