Allen Crabbe signs offer sheet with Nets

Restricted free agent guard Allen Crabbe has signed a four-year, $75 million offer sheet with the Brooklyn Nets.

What It Means:

The Portland Trail Blazers will have three days to match on Crabbe's offer from the Nets, who just so happened to time this offer in correlation with Portland signing Festus Ezeli to a two-year, $15 million deal. Despite not being a household name, Crabbe's contributions go much further than the stat sheet, excelling on the defensive end of the ball at just 24-years-old. With C.J. McCollum due for a max contract next summer, the Blazers have a difficult decision on their hands.

Crabbe averaged 9.5 points and 1.4 3-pointers per game on a sparkling .645 true shooting percentage in 11 contests this past postseason. His 0.8 nERD ranked 72nd in the league during the regular season.
