Nene Hilario agrees to deal with the Rockets
The Houston Rockets and free agent power forward Nene Hilario have agreed to terms on a one year deal worth a reported $2.9 million.
What It Means:
Thin in the front court with Dwight Howard out of the picture, the Rockets needed to add some pieces up front this off-season, and Nene is a solid one.
Nene ranked 70th in the NBA with a 1.0 nERD last season. He posted a 16.8 player efficiency rating, .564 true shooting percentage (his best since the 2011-2012 season) and a 13.2 percent total rebound rate that matched his career average.
